Who doesn't love little piggies? Or big piggies for that matter? Because I do! Juliana mini pigs happen to be one of my favorite animals and have always held a place in my heart. I received my first pot-bellied pigs (Zoey and Ralf) when I was around 7 years old and ever since that day I have been smitten by their little snouts and big personalities. They make great pets for someone who loves affection and cuddles, but also likes walks and outdoor time. They can be taught to use a litter box, pee pad, or to even go outside. Pigs in general are EXTREMELY intelligent creatures and pick up on things very easily.
Juliana's DO NOT stay under 20 lbs. the average for a Juliana is around 30-65 lbs. I breed a mixture of pure Juliana, as well as some crossed with American mini pig to get the desire chipmunk hair coat. A pure bred Juliana is completely spotted by breed standard. As you can see, some of the piglets shown below are not spotted. In addition, I also breed miniature Kune Kune x Juliana x American mini pig crosses.
Most people don't believe me when I say, there is NO such thing as a teacup or mini pig. That is not a breed, it is just a description of a small pig. Some people get small pigs by breeding young females that are not done growing yet, but a lot of the size comes from the diets they are fed. Just like humans, pigs can be overfed quite easily. Just because a person might feed a ton of fruits and veggies, that still contributes to weight gain if not fed in moderation. A healthy, moderated diet is a huge factor in the size of pig you will end up with. We have all our parents on our farm and our top weight is 65 pounds at around 6+ years old. Which means, there is no reason for their offspring to be over 100 pounds, and yet every once in a while, it happens. We have had owners contact us and complain, but after a continued conversation, we learn what their diets were...... 3 giant bags of generic cheerios, 5 apples, unlimited pig feed, and chips/scraps a day is not a good diet! Really do your research as to what a healthy diet is and what is appropriate for the weight of your piggy. Just because market hogs are fed full feed, does not mean you mini pig should, too! I will gladly answer any questions you may have with the diet!! We want happy piggies and happy piggy parents!

The care sheet above touches on hooves and their need for being trimmed often. Please understand that while you might want an indoor pig, trimming of the feet will need to occur more often, since the surfaces are typical softer than outside terrain. Mini pigs that are outside a lot and naturally file their hooves down, need their feet trimmed less. Hope this makes sense! Too many mini pigs have overgrown feet and it’s extremely simple to fix. Either schedule regular hoof trim visits, or let your piggy go outside more often! Whether on walks, or just in your back yard. It is also very smart to have regular vet visits to check up on your pig's overall healthy annual.
**Any mini pig is not finished growing until around 3-5 years of age. Below are a few pictures of our past Juliana and Juliana crossed piglets/mothers. Our boar to all Juliana and Juliana cross piglets for the next few years, is also listed below.

I have recently in the last few years starting incorporating Kune Kunes into my breeding program because of their amazing temperament and disposition, as well as their coloration. I genuinely just adore everything Kune Kune if I am being honest, so I do offer crossbred babies of that nature as well, in addition to my Mini Julianas and Mini Juliana x American Mini Pigs. With the Kune Kune crosses, you get half the size of a regular Kune Kune (because crossing with a smaller mini pig really brings the size down), a wonderful disposition, and beautiful colors. It is an all around win!
****Pig prices range anywhere from $150-$400 depending on color, gender, age, and type.****
If you have any interest, you can contact me by calling or texting @ 812-508-2629. That is my personal cell. I typically have quite a few litters each spring and fall.
